DESCRIPTION:Join Class III of ENGAGE Serves\n\nandnbsp\;\n\nTHIS IS A COMMITMENT - YOU ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND EACH OF THE SIX TUESDAY CLASSES FOR GRADUATION.\n\n\n\nENGAGE Serves is open to professionals who would like to participate in effective board service training at a cost of $50.00 or\, if you are a member of ENGAGE\, the course is considered an additional benefit of your ENGAGE membership and is FREE. There are a limited number of scholarships available as well.\n\nandnbsp\;\n\nThe 6-week program will beandnbsp\;heldandnbsp\;at A-C-T Environmental andamp\; Infrastructure on Hwy. 60 in Bartow on Tuesday evenings fromandnbsp\;4:30-6:30 p.m. beginningandnbsp\;January 15\, 2019 and running February 19\, 2019. A light meal will be provided at no additional cost.andnbsp\; Over the span ofandnbsp\; six weeks\, the fundamentals of effective board service will be taught by some of Bartowandrsquo\;s own andldquo\;seasonedandrdquo\; community leaders. Attendance to every class is recommended however we do allow one absence in order to graduate from the program. Participants will be asked to list their areas of interests in order to be added to a database available to local organizations seeking quality board members.
